It’s become a spring tradition on the Island to gather for a wonderful evening of good food, good friends, and the chance to honor all the worthy individuals and organizations who have been nominated for this year’s Citizen of the Year.
The Banquet will be held at the Beaver Island Lodge on Saturday, April 27. The event begins with a cocktail hour at 6:00 p.m., dinner at 7:00 p.m., followed by the award presentation.
Dinner selections include:
• Tomato pesto crusted chicken breast with creamy cheddar polenta
• Filet of beef with lobster and Boursin mashed potatoes and a merlot reduction
• Grilled halibut with corn coconut curry sauce and cherry tomato chutney
All dinners include a seasonal salad and dessert – fresh fruit and sorbet parfait.
Prices for the three course meal range from $27 to $38 per person.
